Admissions Overview

Dear Families,

Welcome to Rio International School, the only international and Christian school in Rio de Janeiro, an organization with 22 years of history that offers a curriculum of excellence, being totally focused on ethical and moral education, preparing our students for the next academic steps, for individual and group challenges, wherever their successful careers will take them across the globe.

We follow the American educational system and calendar, which means that our school year starts in August and ends in July of the following year. Our admissions process is continuous, which means that we accept applications throughout the year, in which students can start classes at any time during the school year, however as our classes have a reduced number of students, we can work with a waiting list.

We understand that choosing the ideal school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make as a parent, regarding that, our Admissions department will be delighted to introduce you to our academic proposal and fundamental pillars, besides offering a guided tour for your family.
